I was pleased to have a contact with Paul, VK5PAS, who was activating Cromer Conservation Park, VKFF-779, on the 31st July 2015. It was a real Winter’s Day activation and only one month of Winter remaining. Roll on Spring! It was also World International Ranger Day. The shooting of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe is a reminder that in some countries the work of Rangers has added dangers.
